Rare plants, 500 million years geology: the Carinthian Nassfeld is one of the most amazing hiking landscapes of Europe, it offers everything you need for hiking: high moutains, kindly alps, imposing canyons, large valleys and plateaus with a wonderful view on the landscape of the Karnischen and Gailtaler Alpen. In the Gailtaler alps you can find over 1.000 km marked hiking trails - a lot of them are transborderd to Italy - from 600 to 2800 meter sea level.
