ICE SKATING
The Weissensee, a 6.5 km² lake, is the largest natural ice surface in Europe for ice skating, ice hockey, curling or ice golf. The second-largest lake in the region, the 55 ha Pressegger See, also has a charm of its own.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
Carinthia’s Natural Arena is also guaranteed fun for the cross-country skier, with nearly 300 kilometres of prepared track to choose from. The tracks are well-maintained – and 18 of the 42 double-track runs take you to 1,000 m or even 1,500 m above sea level.
