The Nassfeld-Hermagor ski region is located in south-western Carinthia on the Austrian-Italian border. With 30 state-of-the-art aerial tramways and lift facilities and 110 km of piste of varying degrees of difficulty, the region is one of the largest and most attractive ski regions in Austria. The Nassfeld-Hermagor ski region is a ski resort area with guaranteed snow. The Millennium Express, the longest aerial cable car in the Alps, takes you to the summit in just 17 minutes. Via the Carnia ski run, it is possible to ski downhill all the way to CUBE NASSFELD.

Ski pistes
Over 110 kilometres of pistes of varying degrees of difficulty – from beginning hills all the way to World Cup slopes (30km easy, 60km medium, 20km difficult)
Ski lifts
The 30 state-of-the-art lifts (5 gondola lifts, 4 six-seater and 4 four-seater chair lifts, 17 tow lifts) can transport over 44,000 people uphill every hour – at the Nassfeld Ski Arena, “waiting” is not “in”.
Guaranteed snow
All 110 km of piste are fully and completely covered by snow cannons if the need arises!

FYI: The Nassfeld ski region is located in Austria’s sunny south and receives approximately 850 hours of sun during the winter season – 100 more hours of sun than on the north side of the Alps. Deck chairs await sun worshipers at any number of alpine lodges in the area!
Night skiing
The Nassfeld ski area’s 2.2 km Carnia ski run (which takes you directly to CUBE NASSFELD) is one of the longest floodlit runs in Europe. At Nassfeld, night becomes day for a special after-hours experience of skiing or snowboarding!
- Every Wed. from 2 Jan. – 5 Mar. 2009 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. 2.2 km of night-time downhill fun!

SNOWBOARDERS welcome!
Snowboarders are welcome at the Nassfeld-Hermagor winter sports region. Nassfeld was the site of the FIS Junior World Championships in 2001 and in hosted the 2004 FIS Snowboard World Cup in the supreme Boardercross discipline.
